Used with individuals who are ready for deep change work to facilitate self understanding and sustained new behaviours. Works with conscious and unconscious patterns of behaviour, not currently being experienced positively, to facilitate understanding and change so goals are achievable.

This is about drawing out the individual expert from within by increasing self awareness about how you function as an individual.

When I first came to see Robyn, I was a very angry, unhappy person who had sufficient insight to know that I needed to change. I had landed myself in serious trouble at work. Right from the start Robyn approached our relationship by putting me in the seat to make the choices.

I was desperate to change and at first was probably a little impatient with myself trying too hard to get 'it' right and to say the right things. Robyn as a Psychotherapist knew my reactions and over the sessions she challenged some of my thinking and helped me see things from a different perspective.

I have learnt so much about myself over this time and Robyn really is a brilliant Coach and Psychotherapist; she has guided me through the process and supported my journey to discover the real me.

Well, the emotions that are most damaging of all to us are those that are the result of things we don't know we are worrying about; the subliminal worries. We often know we are feeling bad, but we don't know why. And when we question what's going on and we can't get an answer that usually makes us mad; it shows up in our behaviour and it is the people we live and work with that suffer as a result.

The art of psychotherapy for me is helping individuals understand their unique makeup, what makes you the complex individual you are and unravel that to the point of understanding so that you feel in control and you naturally start doing things differently.

We are often unaware of the resources at our disposal because we live with ourselves every day and our focus is external, on what is going on around us rather than on what is going on internally. What I focus on is using psychotherapeutic techniques to bring out the individual expert in you; to help you understand why you don't do the things you know you should and inspire you to take focused action.
